About Jacob Slotin, Esq.

Jacob Slotin is the managing attorney of Slotin Law, PLLC and concentrates his practice on catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases across Florida. Mr. Slotin has a wealth of experience with vehicle crashes, trucking crashes, slip and falls, premises liability cases, negligent security cases, medical malpractice, legal malpractice, catastrophic injuries, traumatic brain injuries, birth injuries, and insurance carrier bad faith.

Mr. Slotin was born in Pinellas County and has lived in Florida all his life. He graduated from the Florida State University College of Law, with honors, where he was a senior member of the Law Review. During law school, Mr. Slotin earned the Katzentine-Simon Scholarship for excellence in professionalism and was a member of the Chester Bedell American Inn of Court.

Mr. Slotin acquired a deep understanding of the Florida legal process in law school and while working for the Honorable Judge Stephanie W. Ray at the First District Court of Appeal. While studying for the Florida Bar, Mr. Slotin clerked for the 7th Judicial Circuit of Florida where he honed his advocacy skills.

After passing the Florida Bar, Mr. Slotin began his career defending doctors, lawyers, cities, malls, restaurants, trucking companies, truck drivers, and insurance companies in complex personal injury and wrongful death cases. However, he knew his talents and experience would be best used to recover compensation for those injured or killed.
